JOHN NEILLY
John Neilly grew up in Kitchener, Ontario playing AA and AAA rep hockey. John played most of his youth hockey as a goalie until the age of 15 when he turned player. John made the AA team in his first year as a forward and played AA midget and High School hockey. Since the age of 18, John has been coaching Minor Hockey, both as a full time goalie coach and player development.
John moved to Alberta in 2009 and has never felt more at home. John is in management at a successful construction company which allows him to have winters off to focus on hockey. He has two kids, both of which play minor hockey in Airdrie. John's sense of humor, depth of knowledge, and unique ability to take aside a struggling player and help that player improve his or her game make John a favorite at every camp.
